ISC Named in Business Insurance’s Annual Best Places to Work in Insurance
Award Recognizes Outstanding Employers in the Insurance Industry
Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC) today announced it has been named one of Business Insurance's Best Places to Work in Insurance, an annual recognition honoring organizations that foster exceptional workplace cultures, high levels of employee engagement, and environments where employees can thrive while driving business success. ISC is owned by Onex Partners.
ISC has built a culture centered on ownership, innovation, transparency, and shared success. Every team member is an owner—in both mindset and equity—with a direct stake in the company's success.
Those values were reflected in the best places to work insurance employee survey, where 88% rated leadership and planning positively, 89% expressed satisfaction with their roles, and 93% said they understand how their work contributes to ISC's success. Employees frequently cited flexible work arrangements, supportive leadership, collaborative teams, and professional development opportunities as reasons they enjoy working at ISC and envision long-term careers with the company.
"Being recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Insurance is especially meaningful because it reflects the experience of our owners and the culture we've built together," said Matt Grossberg, CEO of ISC.
"We've worked together as owners to create an environment where people are trusted, informed, and empowered to make decisions and take ownership. ISC believes in ownership for all, which is reflected in our commitment to giving employees a meaningful stake in the company's success. We invest in our people, technology, support flexible work, communicate openly, and recognize exceptional performance because we believe our people are our greatest competitive advantage. When our owners succeed, our customers, carrier partners, and the company succeed as well."
The survey also highlighted ISC's culture of transparency and collaboration. Employees reported confidence in ISC's leadership, a strong understanding of the company's strategy and financial performance, and meaningful relationships with their managers—underscoring ISC's commitment to open communication.
Best Places to Work in Insurance is an annual sponsored content feature presented by the Custom Publishing unit of Business Insurance and Best Companies Group that lists the agents, brokers, insurance companies and other providers with the highest levels of employee engagement and satisfaction. Best Companies Group identifies the leading employers in the insurance industry by conducting a free two-part assessment of each company. The first part is a questionnaire completed by the employer about company policies, practices, and demographics. The second part is a confidential employee survey on engagement and satisfaction.
The program divides employers into the categories of small, 25-249 employees; medium, 250-999 employees; and large, 1,000 or more employees. This year’s report features 100 companies of various sizes, from 25 employees to more than 4,000.
The ranking and profiles of the winning companies will be unveiled in the November issue of Business Insurance and online at BusinessInsurance.com.
