Teslar Software Names Kevin Tweddle Chief Financial Officer
Banking and fintech veteran joins Teslar as company advances its strategic growth plan and expands into the consumer lending market
Teslar Software, a provider of lending and operations technology for community financial institutions, today announced that Kevin Tweddle has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer.
Tweddle will help advance Teslar’s long-term growth strategy through capital planning, strategic partnerships, financial leadership, and business and corporate development initiatives. His appointment comes as Teslar enters its next phase of growth, including its expansion into the consumer loan origination market and continued investment in intelligent lending solutions for community financial institutions.
“Kevin brings a rare combination of financial leadership, banking and fintech expertise, and a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing community banks,” said Joe Ehrhardt, CEO and founder of Teslar Software. “His experience and longstanding commitment to our industry will be invaluable as we expand our platform, pursue strategic opportunities, and expand our solution set to more financial institutions.”
Tweddle brings more than 37 years of experience across banking, financial technology, and financial services consulting. Most recently, he served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Independent Community Bankers of America. He has also held executive leadership roles with Bank Intelligence Solutions at Fiserv and The Bankers Bank. Tweddle previously served on Teslar’s Board of Directors, giving him an established understanding of the company, its team, and its long-term vision.
“After several years on Teslar’s Board of Directors, I have seen firsthand the company’s impact on community banking and the strength of the team,” Tweddle said. “I am excited to take on this new role at such a pivotal point in the company’s growth plan. I look forward to helping Teslar expand its solutions while continuing to serve the evolving needs of community financial institutions.”
