barre3 Celebrates 18 Years in Portland with Free Classes and $18 Anniversary Offer
Founded in Portland in 2008, the female-led fitness brand marks 18 years of mindful movement with special studio events, free classes, and founder-led sessions
barre3, the guided fitness practice developed by women to help you thrive in your body, is celebrating its 18th anniversary Friday, August 28 through Sunday, August 30. All five company-owned Portland-area studios will offer complimentary classes, special giveaways, and an exclusive $18 offer on the first month of membership (with a three-month commitment).
barre3 launched in August 2008 with a single studio in Portland's Pearl District, combining strength, cardio, and mindfulness into one complete practice. Today, barre3 operates 200+ locally owned franchise studios across 45 states, reaching members in over 100 countries through its digital platform. Ranked by Entrepreneur as the #1 barre franchise, barre3 was built on a clinically validated approach to movement with recent research showing 96% of clients feel stronger, calmer, and more focused after a single class.
To mark the milestone where it all began, Co-founder and CEO Sadie Lincoln, a Forbes 50 Over 50 honoree and Inc. Female Founder 100 recipient, will personally instruct classes across Portland studios throughout the weekend.
"My husband Chris and I started barre3 here in Portland because we knew this community would foster the values we cared most about like fighting loneliness, a body-empowering approach to fitness, and being fiercely committed to local business. Many of our top leaders who started as clients as well as lead instructors will be joining our beloved Portland community for this anniversary weekend celebration," said Sadie Lincoln, Co-founder and CEO, barre3.
