Cracken Releases Self-Serve Access to Proactive Security Platform
Cracken, an applied AI lab building proactive cybersecurity tools, today launched the self-serve version of its platform. Enterprise security teams and individual practitioners can create an account at cracken.ai and start testing their own organizations against real attack paths, with no procurement cycle or sales call in the way. It is the first time Cracken has been available outside a contracted engagement.
In July, twice in three weeks, models running authorized security evaluations broke out of their test environments and compromised real companies. Advances like these are forcing proactive security teams to adapt quickly, yet they remain restricted by long evaluation and purchase timelines. Generic solutions do not account for cybersecurity specifics, do not allow for integrated use cases, and are not optimized for cost and performance.
Tools test components. Attackers chain organizations. Self-serve users get access to a non-restricted part of the platform that allows Cracken's operator workflow for finding the organizational vulnerabilities, threats, and risks that component testing misses, and what it takes to remediate them, with the human-in-command controls that govern every Cracken engagement: scope locks on the defined target, approval gates before any non-reversible action, and full audit logging.
Advanced offensive full kill-chain capabilities, including Cracken’s no-cyber-refusal model (Cracken Red) and restricted sensitive playbooks, as well as on-premises and air-gapped deployment, remain available only to enterprise customers under contract. Self-serve covers the discovery and remediation side of that work.
Cracken’s self-serve platform is designed for:
- Organizational Risks Remediation: Validates vulnerabilities, threats, and risk at the level of the organization rather than the individual application, and returns the path that reaches what matters, so teams remediate the exposure that would actually be used against them
- Effective Operationalization of Proactive Cybersecurity: Embeds the flexibility of vibe-working tools for work that cannot be re-run or reverted, with customizable playbooks, a Cybergraph that holds every asset, finding, and piece of evidence, and operations that integrate with your existing stack.
- Continuous Validation: Rather than isolated security assessments, users can repeat assessments, trigger them externally, and build context (e.g., hosts, exploits, evidence, and more) over time
"Cybersecurity is a closed-off industry. There are almost no self-serve products in it," said Artem Sorokin, Founder and CEO of Cracken. "Reactive cyber is dead, and organizations need to change fast while their own bureaucracy moves slow. So we're doing an unusual thing. We're giving people a way to try what we've built without a complicated sales conversation. There are limits, since offensive cybersecurity is a sensitive subject, and some of our work stays with our enterprise customers, but you can get a feel for the platform and use it for legitimate proactive security right now."
As an applied AI lab focused on proactive cybersecurity, Cracken is building an entire vertical of components designed to work together — from tailored no-refusal models to purpose-built proactive cybersecurity products. Just this week, the Cracken team has released: Project Blacksea, an open-source proactive security tool, and Redline Bench, the company's benchmark for evaluating AI systems on cybersecurity tasks.
Cracken's Self-Serve platform starts at $199 a month and is initially available to users in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Ukraine, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Learn more at https://cracken.ai/.
About Cracken
Cracken is a leading applied AI lab for proactive cybersecurity. Built by cyber warfare-experienced operators and AI researchers, Cracken brings attacker-grade, non-refusal AI to enterprise security teams without sacrificing control, auditability, or safety. The company’s AI platform identifies organizational full killchain risks and attack paths. It helps validate and remediate issues and allows for effective proactive cybersecurity operationalization with enterprise security teams. Cracken's mission is to give defenders the same asymmetric AI advantage that attackers already give themselves. For more information, visit cracken.ai.
