IN BRIEF: SThree extends deadline for Circle8 to make takeover offer
SThree PLC - London-based science, technology, engineering and mathematics-focused staffing company - For a second time, extends deadline for Circle8 to announce a firm intention to make a takeover offer for SThree, this time to November 18. SThree says discussions with Circle8 are ongoing, with the extension allowing further time for the discussions to progress. SThree in September had rejected a possible takeover offer from New Jersey-based staffing sector peer Circle8, which serves the IT, technology, and finance industries. In early October, Circle8 made a revised proposal regarding an improved all-cash offer, after which SThree extended its deadline to October 21.
