IN BRIEF: Secure Trust Bank completes GBP10 million share buyback

Secure Trust Bank PLC - Solihull, England-based business and consumer lender - Completes on Tuesday the GBP5 million second tranche of its GBP10 million share buyback, having completed the GBP5 million first tranche on August 5. The buyback is run by Shore Capital Stockbrokers Ltd. Secure Trust buys back 331,134 shares at average 1,509.36 pence per share in the second tranche. In total for the GBP10 million programme, it buys back 654,540 shares at an average 1,527.79p. The buyback was to return cash from the sale of the bank's Consumer Vehicle Finance business. Secure Trust sold its Consumer Vehicle Finance business to private equity funds managed by LCM Partners Ltd for GBP458.6 million in December last year.
