The fund was renamed from the retired Incore brand to Victory Fund for Income. While the aim is stable income, it has not delivered over the long term. Gradually, the fund's net asset value has eroded over the past several years, leaving behind a smaller amount of principal off of which to generate its monthly dividend. In the trailing 12 months ended May 31, 2014, it paid 56 cents in dividends cumulatively. As of May 31, 2024, that figure dropped to 39 cents.
