Strategy

The investment seeks capital appreciation, with a secondary goal of current income. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of the value of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of large-capitalization companies, meaning those with market capitalizations, at the time of acquisition, within the capitalization range of the companies comprising the Russell 1000® Index.
