As of Oct. 1, 2020, Courtney Wolf became a named portfolio manager on American Funds Tax-Exempt Bond Fund of America. Wolf joined Capital Group in 2005 from Northwestern University. Among her positions at the firm, she served as a fixed-income investment analyst primarily covering municipal bonds in the airport and tobacco settlement sectors. She joins veteran managers Chad Rach and Karl J. Zeile on the strategy who have been managing this effort since 2016 and 2003, respectively. Her addition to the existing portfolio management team does not change the strategies' Morningstar Analyst Ratings.
