Invesco Small Cap Value will close to most new investors on April 1, 2024, while still allowing limited access to certain investor groups. Its pillar ratings and overall Morningstar Medalist Ratings remain unchanged. The move comes in response to the strategy's notable asset growth in 2022 and 2023, fueled by strong performance and considerable inflows. While the fund's $3.9 billion in assets under management as of Jan. 30, 2024, remain manageable, Invesco's decision to limit new investments reflects a prudent approach to capacity management and the protection of existing fundholders.
