In pursuit of its objective, the fund will invest, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its assets (net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in core bonds. Core bonds are investment grade fixed-income securities. It may, without limitation, seek to obtain exposure to the securities in which it primarily invests through a variety of investment vehicles, principally closed-end funds, exchange-traded funds ("ETFs") and other mutual funds. The fund may invest up to 20% of its assets in preferred stock.
