Strategy

The investment seeks to provide current income and preservation of capital with a focus on short duration securities. The fund has a non-fundamental policy to invest, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the value of its net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes in bonds. Russell Investment Management, LLC provides or oversees the provision of all investment advisory and portfolio management services for the fund. It invests principally in short duration bonds and defines short duration as a duration ranging from 0.5 to 3.0 years.
