Strategy

The investment seeks total return, including high current income. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of borrowings, if any, for investment purposes) in fixed income investments. The fund may invest a substantial portion of its assets in asset-backed securities and mortgage-related securities, including CMBS, CMOs and other mortgage-related securities issued by private issuers.
