On March 1, 2021, Columbia Threadneedle named Alexandre Christensen as a comanager on Columbia Income Builder. He joins Gene Tannuzzo, who has managed the fund since 2010 with the firm’s previous head of fixed income, Colin Lundgren. Lundgren had announced in October 2020 that he would retire in March 2021 and that Tannuzzo would then become CIO. Christensen’s appointment is therefore sensible as he will assist with Tannuzzo’s increased workload. He started his investment career in 2014 and has worked with Columbia since 2015.
