Victory Pioneer Fund Class Y PYODX

Victory Pioneer Fund features an experienced manager duo and disciplined investment framework, earning Above Average People and Process ratings. Comanagers Jeff Kripke and James Yu have a significant history with the strategy and an even longer one with each other. The pair first met while attending Columbia Business School before graduating in 1995 and later reunited when they both joined Pioneer Investments in 2015. Kripke became the lead manager of the strategy that same year, with Yu coming aboard in 2019. The two have worked collaboratively since then, doing much of the hands-on research and modeling for stocks entering the portfolio. Alongside their own contributions, they also leverage the broader Pioneer research team for idea generation. In April 2025, Victory Capital completed its acquisition of Pioneer Investments, which streamlined some operations but left Pioneer’s investment team largely untouched. While analyst turnover within the group was historically worrisome, it has largely stabilized in recent years.
