Summary

Aristotle Funds Strategic Income showcases unique characteristics that diverge from the typical multisector-bond prototype. It has performed well against most peers and the Bloomberg US Universal Index in a variety of markets; one has to go back to 2014-15 for the last serious performance hiccup. While a pronounced inclination toward corporate credit limits its breadth, the dedication of a seasoned and skilled team, coupled with a process that astutely merges security selection, particularly in corporate credit, with a touch of macro insight, has led us to upgrade the People and Process ratings.
