On Jan. 5, 2021, Principal announced that veteran manager Dave Simpson is no longer a named manager on Principal Equity Income and Principal Small-MidCap Dividend Income and will retire during 2021’s first quarter. Both strategies still have the experienced Dan Coleman at the helm, however, and his new comanager on both funds is a familiar face. As such, the funds retain their Morningstar Analyst Ratings.
