Columbia Large Cap Growth Opportunity Fund Class A NFEAX

On June 18, 2026, Columbia Threadneedle announced that Columbia Large Cap Growth Opportunity will merge into Columbia Cornerstone Growth. The merger is expected to take place on or about Nov. 20, 2026, and should qualify as a tax-free reorganization. The announcement doesn’t come as a surprise. The two strategies, both run by Tiffany Wade and Michael Guttag, have become more similar since Wade and Guttag became managers on Columbia Large Cap Growth Opportunity in January 2024. As of April 2026, the two portfolios had more than 94% of their assets in common, which was much greater than the roughly 60% overlap the two portfolios had when the managers started there. As such, investors in Columbia Large Cap Growth Opportunities should have a similar experience here once the funds merge. Both strategies’ Average People and Process ratings remain intact.
