The investment seeks current income and capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the value of its total assets (net assets plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in credit instruments. The manager defines credit instruments broadly to include any debt instrument or instrument with debtlike characteristics.
