TD Epoch, which subadvises MainStay Income Builder’s equity sleeve, recently announced that Michael Welhoelter and John Tobin will retire at the end of 2024. Welhoelter has been a named manager on the fund since 2009 and serves as TD Epoch’s co-CIO with a focus on risk. Lin Lin will take Welhoelter’s place as comanager on several TD Epoch strategies, including this fund, on June 30, 2024. Lin helms the firm’s quantitative research team and has 18 years of industry experience, seven of them at TD Epoch.
