Analyst Note

TD Epoch recently announced that William Priest will be stepping back from his role as portfolio manager on Epoch funds starting March 31, 2024, including MainStay Income Builder, to focus on the firm’s high-net-worth clients. Priest began comanaging the equity sleeve of this fund in 2009, but lead manager Kera Van Valen has helmed the sleeve since 2014 and will remain in place next to her two comanagers, Michael Welhoelter and John Tobin. The impending change does not affect the fund’s Average People rating and Morningstar Medalist Ratings.
