MFS Core Equity is an analyst-driven strategy that takes advantage of MFS' capable central research organization. Tight portfolio constraints will keep the fund's performance close to its Russell 3000 Index benchmark, so while it has a good chance to outperform large-blend Morningstar Category peers, index-relative outperformance will be tougher to come by.
