Lionel Gomez will join this foreign small/mid growth fund’s management team as a comanager on March 31, 2021. Gomez has a solid resume. He had several years of portfolio-management experience when he joined MFS in 2013; he has served as an equity specialist and worked closely with a variety of MFS managers during his time at the firm; and he currently serves as the capital-goods sector leader on the firm’s emerging-markets research strategy.
