MFS has announced that oversight manager Camille Humphries Lee will retire and relinquish her responsibilities on this fund of funds and other MFS strategies on May 1, 2024. Nicholas Paul, who came on board as an oversight manager on this offering in January 2022, will serve as the sole oversight manager after Humphries Lee retires. Humphries Lee, who joined MFS in 2000 and who has 34 years of investment experience, has served as an oversight manager on this strategy since 2018. But her retirement is roughly nine months away. Moreover, Paul, who joined MFS in 2010 and who has 25 years of investment experience, has good credentials for serving as the sole oversight manager. A sizable and seasoned quant team, which handles the daily rebalancing and monitors the allocation mix of this fund of funds, remains in place. Meanwhile, the strategy will continue to invest in the same six underlying offerings—and with the same allocations—as it does now, and the personnel and other strengths of those offerings remain intact. For all these reasons, the strategy retains its Above Average People Pillar rating and its Above Process Pillar rating.
