Strategy

The investment seeks high current income with a secondary focus on capital appreciation. The fund pursues its investment objective by investing, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowing for investment purposes) in bonds and other debt instruments. Its investments in below investment grade securities are limited to 65% of its net assets, but under unusual circumstances, such as when new issue allocations are higher than expected, this limit may be exceeded on a temporary basis.
