On June 21, 2024, Raymond James Investment Management announced that the Eagle Small Cap Growth SMA reopened to new investors after being closed to new money for more than a decade. The US mutual fund vehicle remains open to new investors, while the institutional separate accounts remain closed. Its pillar ratings and overall Morningstar Medalist Ratings are unchanged. Steady outflows over the years reduced this strategy’s assets to roughly $2.5 billion as of June 2024, which made reopening the vehicle a reasonable decision. The firm estimates that it will close the strategy again if total assets hit $3.5 billion, which is sensible and shouldn't require the managers to adjust their approach if strategy assets reach that level.
