Summary

Janus Henderson announced in June 2024 that John Pattullo would retire in March 2025, ending a two-decade partnership with Jenna Barnard in leading the strategy. To ensure continuity, Nicholas Ware, an experienced credit-focused manager involved in the strategy for more than 10 years, joined Barnard as comanager across all flexible mandates in July 2024. The team also includes Oliver Bardot, who became comanager on the Luxembourg-domiciled vehicle in January 2023 and works closely with Ware, leveraging the firm’s 26-member global credit research team. This tight-knit group, supported by broader fixed-income resources at the firm, benefits from seasoned leadership and strong collaboration, resulting in an Above Average People Pillar rating.
