Janus Henderson’s Global Flexible Bond Strategies Under Review After PM Barnard Announces Retirement

Janus Henderson has announced that portfolio manager Jenna Barnard will retire from the asset management industry on Dec. 31, 2026, after more than two decades with the firm. Barnard has managed Janus Henderson Strategic Bond since 2003 and helped build the firm’s strategic bond franchise. John Lloyd, currently global head of multisector & corporate credit, will join the portfolio management team from Aug. 1, 2026, with Nicholas Ware and Oliver Bardot remaining in place.
