Columbia Cornerstone Growth Fund S Class GEGDX

On June 18, 2026, Columbia Threadneedle announced that both Columbia Large Cap Growth Opportunity and Columbia Select Large Cap Growth—which combined for more than USD 1.8 billion in assets in the mutual fund vehicles—will merge into Columbia Cornerstone Growth. The mergers are expected to take place on or about Nov. 20, 2026. The news doesn’t come as a surprise. This portfolio and Columbia Large Cap Growth Opportunity, both managed by Tiffany Wade and Michael Guttag, were already run in a similar fashion and had more than 90% of assets in common as of April 2026. Meanwhile, Wade and Guttag were appointed managers on Columbia Select Large Cap Growth in January 2026; that portfolio also had more than 90% of its assets in common with Columbia Cornerstone Growth’s portfolio as of May 2026. As such, the additional assets under management shouldn’t affect this strategy’s approach. Its Average People and Process ratings remain intact.
