Joanne Irvine, deputy head of global emerging-markets equities, will retire in June 2024 after 30 years with abrdn, and Kristy Fong will leave the team in September 2024 for personal reasons after 20 years with the firm. Both are members of a shrinking portfolio construction pod that manages this strategy.
