Goldman Sachs Asset Management has announced that Adam Agress, comanager on Goldman Sachs Mid Cap Value and an energy sector and consumer sector analyst on the Fundamental U.S. Equity team, has departed the firm. Sung Cho, the fund’s lead manager, remains in place. The firm said there are no immediate plans to name another comanager but that such a move could take place in the future. Existing analysts will take over Agress’ equity coverage, with the team looking to add new hires, the firm said. The fund’s People rating of Average and Morningstar Analyst Ratings--which are Neutral for all share classes-- remain intact.
