Franklin Small Cap Value’s seasoned manager oversees a conservative relative value approach and has delivered decent risk-adjusted performance over his nine-plus years at the helm. Closing to new investors in May 2021 when the portfolio held about $6.5 billion has kept its assets in check, but it’s still near capacity. That said, this remains a solid small-value offering.
