Strategy

The investment seeks to maximize total return (capital appreciation and income) consistent with reasonable risk. The fund will invest, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes in bonds and other fixed-income securities, and in derivatives and other instruments that have economic characteristics similar to such securities, and in ETFs and other registered investment companies investing in fixed income securities.
