In a prospectus supplement filed Nov. 30, 2020, Eaton Vance announced that Alexander Payne, a mortgage-focused portfolio manager at the firm, would be joining portfolio manager Andrew Szczurowski as a named manager on Eaton Vance Short Duration Government Income. Szczurowski, who has managed this strategy since July 2014, has worked with Payne since the latter joined the firm as a mortgage analyst in 2015. The two have been named managers on Eaton Vance Government Opportunities, this strategy’s sister vehicle, since 2014 and 2018, respectively. This change has no impact on the strategy’s Average People Pillar rating and overall ratings.
