Summary

A robust strategy, though it picks from a shorter menu than many peers. Wellington Global Impact Bond brings Wellington’s proven multisector approach to the narrower universe of global impact bonds. Lead manager Campe Goodman, a firm veteran who leads the Wellington Global Impact team, successfully ran several other global sector rotation strategies before launching this strategy in 2019. He is joined by Robert Burn, who joined Wellington in 2007 and brings a strong quantitative background, as well as six other members dedicated to global impact bond investing. Goodman and Burn also leverage Wellington’s extensive global credit analyst team and share insights with a group of seasoned sector portfolio managers (on corporate bonds, securitized debt, and so on) who are impressive in their own right.
