Strategy
The investment seeks long term total return. The fund normally invests primarily in debt obligations issued by sovereign, quasi-sovereign and private (non-government) emerging market issuers. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of borrowings for investment purposes) in fixed income instruments of issuers in emerging market countries. The fund may invest in individual securities of any maturity or duration, the Adviser will normally seek to construct an investment portfolio for the fund with a dollar-weighted average effective duration of three years or less.
