DWS RREEF Real Assets is a high-touch attempt to deliver inflation-sensitive returns. Though considerable resources back the strategy, recent market conditions have upset the otherwise consistent and systematic approach. The team continues to fine-tune the components driving the model at the heart of the strategy, but outcomes are less reliable than in the fund’s past, warranting a downgrade of the Process Pillar to Average from Above Average.
