On Feb. 28, 2022, Columbia Threadneedle Investments announced that senior portfolio manager and head of multi-asset strategy Anwiti Bahuguna was leaving the firm for another opportunity. Bahuguna's industry experience extends back to 1998, and she joined the firm's multi-asset team in 2005. She managed Columbia Thermostat since 2018 and took over as lead in 2022. Alex Rivas will now comanage this strategy with Corey Lorenzen. Rivas joined the industry in 2009 and began contributing to this strategy when he started at the firm in 2017. He was named to this strategy in mid-2022. Lorenzen joined the industry in 2009 and the firm in 2012. For this systematic strategy, the team-based approach, tenure of continuing managers, and broader team resources assuage concerns over Bahuguna's departure. However, the firm has large shoes to fill due to the level of expertise and experience lost. The strategy maintains its Average People rating and Morningstar Analyst Rating of Bronze for the cheapest shares and Neutral for the priciest.
