Woolworths: Australian Supermarkets Sales Growth Solid, but Costs Are Rising Too

Woolworths Group sales were AUD 19.4 billion in the September quarter of 2026, up 5% year-on-year. The core Australian supermarkets business drove the growth, while sales growth at its New Zealand supermarkets and the BIG W department store chain underperformed.
