Business Strategy and Outlook

Market conditions have remained favorable for CME Group so far in 2026, as high macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty has driven strong trading volume across all of its asset classes. We expect this tailwind to persist for the rest of 2026 before diminishing in 2027, contributing to our expectation for a deceleration in growth next year. That said, CME is a direct beneficiary of economic uncertainty. As long as market conditions remain volatile, we expect the firm to continue to deliver strong profitability.
