PTC specializes in computer-aided design, or CAD, and product lifecycle management, or PLM, to help manufacturing companies run their businesses more efficiently. In October 2026, Schneider Electric announced a definitive agreement to acquire PTC for $205 per share, valuing the company at $23 billion. We think this all-cash deal will close on time in the third quarter of 2027.
