StarHub Earnings: Consumer Telecom Market Competition Remains Intense

StarHub's second-quarter service revenue declined 23% mainly due to the deconsolidation of Ensign. An underlying 8% revenue drop was mainly due to declines in key consumer businesses: mobile (negative 10%), broadband (negative 9%), and entertainment (negative 7%), due to continued price competition.
