O'Reilly's second-quarter results had a 6% comparable-store-sales increase and adjusted EPS of $0.86 (up 10.8%). Gross margin held at 51.4% as acquisition costs and distribution efficiencies offset professional mix pressure, while operating expenses rose by 9 basis points due to higher fuel prices.
