Amer Sports holds a modest 1% share of the global sportswear and equipment market but has carved out a strong niche in outdoor apparel, hiking footwear, and tennis. Since its 2019 acquisition by Anta Sports, Amer has shifted away from acquisition-led and wholesale-driven growth toward expanding its product portfolio and building a direct-to-consumer engine. This pivot is reflected in increased investment behind three core brands: Arc’teryx, Salomon, and Wilson.
