Starbucks' global comparable sales popped 6.2%, including 7.1% in the US, boosted by a 4.3% lift in transactions and a 2.7% benefit from higher tickets. Adjusted operating margin expanded 120 basis points to 9.4% but was aided by lower depreciation costs on held-for-sale China assets.
