Vertex Pharmaceuticals reported positive phase 3 data for povetacicept in IgA nephropathy, a chronic kidney disease that can lead to renal failure, showing a 49.8% reduction in proteinuria compared with placebo and meeting all primary and secondary endpoints. Shares rose 8% on March 10.
