Huntington: Veritex Holdings Acquisition Will Expand Its Texas Market, but Price Is a Bit High

Huntington Bancshares announced that it expects to purchase Texas-based Veritex Holdings for $1.9 billion in an all-stock acquisition and targets to close in fourth-quarter 2025. In addition, the firm announced preliminary results, which included 8% revenue growth and 13% earnings per share growth.
