Nissan: Shares Spike on Activist Investor Acquiring Stake; Stock Undervalued

Nissan’s shares rose 13% on Nov. 12 after a regulatory filing disclosed that ECM Master Fund has built a 2.5% stake in Nissan as of the end of September. According to SEC filings, ECM Master Fund is managed by activist investor Effissimo Capital Management, known for the takeover of Toshiba in 2021.
