Chorus described first half fiscal 2024 as the first "normal" period following the pandemic and other material externalities of the last few years, but one could hardly tell. EBITDA for six months to December 2023 increased 2% year on year to NZD 347 million, consistent with the average annual growth achieved from fiscal 2020 (covid-19 begins) to fiscal 2023 (extreme weather, inflation).
