More About Chiayi Tsui

Chiayi Tsui is a manager research analyst for Morningstar Research Services LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. She covers fixed-income strategies.

Before joining Morningstar in 2021, Tsui worked in higher education, studying wealth-generation trends and building out forward-looking methodologies to identify prospects for university fundraising efforts.

Tsui holds a bachelor's degree in visual art with a minor in art history from the University of Chicago and a master's degree from Indiana University–Bloomington.

How we make money

Our investment management business generates asset-based fees, which are calculated as a percentage of assets under management. We also sell both admissions and sponsorship packages for our investment conferences and advertising on our websites and newsletters.
